Dungeon Crawlers Radio is excited to welcome to the show author, Rhiannon Held talking about her new book Tarnished.

Rhiannon Held is also the author of SILVER, the first book in an urban fantasy series from Tor. The second book in that series is TARNISHED. In her day job she works as a professional archaeologist. Unfortunately, given that it’s real rather than fictional archaeology, fedoras, bullwhips, aliens, and dinosaurs are in short supply. Most of her work is done on the computer, using databases to organize data, and graphics programs to illustrate it.

This interview  will be broadcasted live from Epic Puzzles and Games in West Valley City on Monday May 13, 2013 starting @ 6pm.

Dungeon Crawlers Radio is excited to bring back to the show the wonderful, amazing, and always entertaining, Shelly Mazzanoble.

Shelly Mazzanoble’s short stories and essays have appeared in The Seattle Times, Carve, Whetstone, Skirt!, SomeOtherMagazine.com, and Dragon. In a fit of narcissism, she has appeared in her own work, casting herself as the lead in her play, Blue Malls, which was produced in Seattle’s Mae West Fest XIII. Due to the anxiety dreams still plaguing her, she did not star, support or even understudy in her play, The Chicken & the Egg, which was produced in Mae West Fest IV and later Manhattan Theatre Source’s Estrogenius Festival. Her first book, Confessions of a Part-Time Sorceress: A Girls Guide to the Dungeons and Dragons Game published by Wizards of the Coast, was nominated for an Origins Award and won the 2008 ENnies Award for Best Regalia. Her second book, Everything I Need to Know I Learned From Dungeons & Dragons: One Woman’s Quest to Trade Self-Help for Elf-Help was nominate for an Origins Award and at least six of her non-D&D playing friends actually read this one. Shelly really loves writing books with very long titles. Originally from upstate New York and a graduate of Ithaca College, she now lives in Seattle with a bi-polar cat named Zelda, a step-dog named Sadie, and a very patient man who has turned “Harpy” into a term of endearment.

This interview  will be broadcasted live on Thursday May 9, 2013 starting @ 6pm.

Dungeon Crawlers Radio welcomes to the show author, Patrick Tomlinson

Patrick Tomlinson lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a menagerie of houseplants in varying levels of health, and a Mustang. When he’s not writing, he’s practicing for half-marathons and triathlons, and trying to keep up with the world and our ever-changing landscape.

Patrick has been a sci-fi and fantasy fan since a very early age. One day, quite by accident, he discovered that the best sci-fi and fantasy was not on the silver screen, but lying on white paper pages. Ever since then, reading has been a big part of his life.

In the summer of 2009, Patrick began writing a novel. Before long, short stories started cluttering up his brain. In February 2010, he submitted his first piece to the publishing industry, which has been followed by almost a dozen more.

Since his start in 2010, Patrick has written in the “Crimson Pact”, a collection of anthologies based on the origin story “The Failed Crusade” by Paul Genesse and Patrick Tracy. He has been handpicked to write books 3-5 in Shane Moore’s “The Wererat’s Tale” series. Patrick will also be seen in the upcoming Abyss Walker anthology collection.

This show will be broadcasted live from Epic Puzzles and Games in West Valley City on Monday April 29, 2013 starting @ 6pm.

Dungeon Crawlers Radio welcomes to the show Dan O' Brien.

Dan is an editor, writer, and psychologist. He currently works at a national magazine, Empirical, in northern California. He has written over 10 novels, several screenplays, and is working on a graphic novel. A philosopher and martial artist, his days are filled with writing and training.

Dan is an eclectic writer who dabbles in many genres, though most have sweeping elements of scientific inquiry and reason. Most of the novels fall into the categories of science fiction and fantasy, though there is something for everyone. Romance, horror, young adult, and even drama have found their way from my mind to paper.

Dungeon Crawlers Radio welcomes to the show for the first time author, Deborah Coates.  Deborah Coates is a published writer of science fiction and fantasy short stories.  Her first novel, Wide Open, will be published by Tor in March, 2012.

Deep Down; Now that she's solved her sister's murder, Hallie Michaels has left the army and isn't sure what to do next. Her relationship with deputy Boyd Davies is tentative, there's still distance between her and her father, and she needs a job. The good news is, she hasn't seen a ghost in weeks.

All that changes when she gets a call asking her to help an elderly neighbor who is being stalked by black dogs, creatures from the underworld that are harbingers of death. When a black dog appears, Hallie learns, a reaper is sure to follow. And if the dark visions she's suddenly receiving are any indication, it looks like the reaper is now following her.

Meanwhile, strange events herald the arrival of ghosts from Boyd's past, ghosts the young deputy isn't ready to face. Refusing Hallie's help, Boyd takes off to deal with the problem on his own, only to find that he's facing something much larger and more frightening than he'd imagined.

This interview will be a phone in interview and will be broadcasted live from Epic Puzzles and Games in West Valley City on Monday March 18, 2013 starting @ 6pm.
