Dungeon Crawlers Radio is excited to bring back to the show the wonderful, amazing, and always entertaining, Shelly Mazzanoble.
Shelly Mazzanoble’s short stories and essays have appeared in The Seattle Times, Carve, Whetstone, Skirt!, SomeOtherMagazine.com, and Dragon. In a fit of narcissism, she has appeared in her own work, casting herself as the lead in her play, Blue Malls, which was produced in Seattle’s Mae West Fest XIII. Due to the anxiety dreams still plaguing her, she did not star, support or even understudy in her play, The Chicken & the Egg, which was produced in Mae West Fest IV and later Manhattan Theatre Source’s Estrogenius Festival. Her first book, Confessions of a Part-Time Sorceress: A Girls Guide to the Dungeons and Dragons Game published by Wizards of the Coast, was nominated for an Origins Award and won the 2008 ENnies Award for Best Regalia. Her second book, Everything I Need to Know I Learned From Dungeons & Dragons: One Woman’s Quest to Trade Self-Help for Elf-Help was nominate for an Origins Award and at least six of her non-D&D playing friends actually read this one. Shelly really loves writing books with very long titles. Originally from upstate New York and a graduate of Ithaca College, she now lives in Seattle with a bi-polar cat named Zelda, a step-dog named Sadie, and a very patient man who has turned “Harpy” into a term of endearment.

Dungeon Crawlers Radio wants to welcome for the first time to the show. Writer and creator of Judgement at Proteus, Author Timothy Zahn.
The climactic novel of the star-spanning Quadrail space opera
The Quadrail that connects the twelve civilizations of our galaxy has been the flashpoint of a battle for dominance fought mostly unnoticed by humankind. But Frank Compton of Earth, aided by the enigmatic woman Bayta, has fought on the front lines, using every bit of his human ingenuity and secret agent skills to outwit the Modhri, a group intelligence that would control the minds of every sentient being it can touch.
Following a trail of deception and death to Proteus Station, Compton has discovered a conspiracy that threatens all life in the galaxy: the Shonkla'raa, an ancient enemy thought to be long dead, is rising again. So serious is the danger that the Modhri, the enemy of his enemy, may now be his friend, as the burgeoning threat of a race of invincible soldiers emerges.
If Compton and Bayta can't stop them, the Shonkla'raa will decimate all who oppose them, destroying the Quadrail and billions of lives throughout the galaxy.
This interview will be a phone in interview and will be broadcasted live from Epic Puzzles and Games in West Valley City on Monday July 16, 2012 starting @ 6pm.
