Dungeon Crawlers Radio welcomes to the show Artist, Illustrators, and creators, David Faught and Gerry Kissell to the show.

Gerry Kissell: Artist, Illustrator, Creator
Artist and creator of IDW’s best selling graphic novel CODE WORD: Geronimo, Gerry has been an artist / illustrator for over 22 years, having worked on the art from Star Trek to the A-Team over the years.

A former U.S. Army Combat Medic, Gerry has spent much of his career creating military art. But, not to be pigeon hold, he has shown his versatility by working within other genres, including working on horror and sci-fi comics like Endtime as well as the comic tie in for Xbox’s hit game Alan Wake. In 2013, through his own studio, Hazmat Studios, and with IDW and Blind Spot Pictures, he is releasing the new movie tie-in graphic novel IRON SKY. As well as finishing the historical graphic novel Bayeux, an engrossing and epic book about the battle of Hastings in 1066. He is currently developing as well as working on several new comic projects, three of which are with bestselling author Shane Moore (Apocalypse of Enoch). He is also serving as the storyboard artist for the forthcoming World War II motion picture No Better Place To Die, for Dale Dye (Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Platoon, Alexander). Dale Dye calls Gerry’s art on the film “essential to the overall look and feel of the film.”

Some other notable quotes about Gerry’s work includes, "He has a natural knack for comic art. He's the Al Williamson of our generation." says Tom Waltz, Senior Writer at IDW. Ted Adams, CEO of IDW, calls Gerry a "beast", when it comes to drawing. Even IDW's Chris Ryall has referred to Gerry as the "consummate comic artist that they say doesn't exist anymore."
