Panic Fire

Panic Fire from the creators over at Three Headed Giant is a funny super-fast game where you will find yourself itching to get rid of the other opponents sitting at the table with you.  Panic Fire is one of the first game produced by Three Headed Giant and honestly they knock the ball out of the park with this game.  The art work on the cards is amazing and hilarious!  You will enjoy seeing gun toting Gorillas, Aliens, Cowboys, a busty opera singing Viking gal with a turret gun, to a beloved sniper rifle carrying grandma.  That’s right grannies got a gun and she the most powerful card in the deck!

This game comprises of a well detailed toy gun, a deck of 100 cards (shield cards included) and your basic rule book.  Within minutes of picking up the game we were off having fun playing at the table.  You quickly realize just how valuable the shield cards are in this game as you’re only allowed to have one shield card in play on the table, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have several shield cards hiding in your hand.  In fact you can have as many as you want in your hand and you can play a shield from either the table when you’re drawing a card or from your hand.

This game moves really fast when you’re at the table racing against your opponents to create a combination that will allow you to grab for the gun in the middle of the table.  You will quickly find yourself on a rollercoaster of fun as you go from growling in frustration to jumping up in wild glee after pulling the trigger to knock out one of your friends from the game.

Conclusion
Panic Fire has an incredible replay value, even without the shield cards, though they do help to keep you alive!  I highly recommend this game for anyone who might enjoy a light strategy card game that you can play in half an hour (although you'll probably want to play a few games in a row, just to get back at your friends!).
